Found Daniel searching on google for Console repairs in Alberta last December.
I am in Duchess, AB and contacted Daniel about my YLOD on the PS3.
He replied very quickly and I sent my console to him. He did a reball, and also fixed my Blu ray Drive and now I am able to enjoy gaming again. Still going strong 4 months later.
Very good Service, communication and he knows his stuff. Highly recommended.

great service and help.. did a awesome job modding my 360 slim and 2 nintendo ds lites. wherever a problem arouse he was very helpful and even took it into his own hands to fix and help weather it was a swap, reflash or reinstall at no charge.. highly recommended over anyone ive ever known to mod game consoles.. and prices are more then reasonable..

Daniel modded my Xbox 360 and everything worked great. He was very helpful in answering my follow up questions. When an issue arose, through no fault of his, he invited me back to his shop and fixed it while I waited, at no charge. I have dealt with Patrick a few times over the years, and just got to meet Daniel. Both are great to deal with, and very good at what they do. Both have managed to save a console that I have butchered on my own, and neither laughed at me for being dumb. I will always bring them stuff that I break.

I e-mailed Daniel just before I was going to be in Edmonton to see if he was able to look at a couple of my consoles. It was last minute and on a Saturday to boot. I dropped them off after lunch and he had them both done by the end of the day.
I've always been pleased by his top notch service and excellent work and this just proved his dedication to the customer by fitting me in at the last minute with no questions asked. If you live in the Edmonton area or if you are coming in from out of town, this is the only and best place to go for prompt service and knowledgeable answers to any questions that you may have for all the gaming consoles on the market today.
Prices are the best I've seen on the Net and where Daniel really has the advantage over everyone else is that he will answer and go out of his way to offer help even after he's made the sale. Not many modders will offer that kind of service.
5 stars and will definitely recommend his services to all my friends. Thanks Daniel.

I have nothing but good things to say about Edmonton Mods and Daniel's excellent service that he provides :) I've come back to Daniel time and time again for all my console modding needs and he has done excellent work every single time. I understand how to do these things and can do them on my own but with the quality of workmanship and great friendly customer service, I will always want Daniel to be my go-to guy for any and all console mods :) I don't even know of any other good or trustworthy modding companies in Edmonton that can even come close to Edmonton Mods in quality and experience. I found this website after being reject via e-mail by another repair shop in Edmonton who never even looked at my system. Glad they said no. Edmonton Mods did a great job fixing my 360 and the price was much lower than I expected. I tested it for a few weeks before leaving this feedback and it has been working great. Thanks again for the excellent service I'll be recommending you to everyone I know.

so my 360 broke because my computer erased my drive before i could get the dvd and i took it to Daniel and he fixed it and offered to give me a faceplate to replace my broken one.He is a professinal at this stuff and i will take all my repaires/mods to him.

Wow! Daniel was extremely helpful,nice,fast any other adjective you can think of to describe stand up. I found this website googling Console Mods and contacted him to see if he could mod a Sega Saturn. He told me that he had never done it before but would be willing to give it a try. Not only did he get the system up and running but he spent extra time with me going over the procedure to burn back up copies of my games. If i ever get past with addiction I have to retro gaming I would definetly use his services again. Honestly I cant say enough good things about my experience. Thanks so much!

My Xbox 360 suffered the E74 error (red ring of death). Daniel was very informative on even the initial consultation discussion. The turnaround of the repair of my machine was within one day. The service he provided was excellent and provided detailed explanations of the problem, the process, and maintenance after the repair. I would highly recommend him to any of my console services.

Just wanted to say thanks for the modded 360 controller. Daniel did an amazing job with it. He is fast friendly and very professional. It was very simple for me aswell to just drop off the controller and pick it up the next day. He also said I could come get it 2 hours later but chose to get it the next day. I have two sons that are involved with the Boys & Girls Club. The Club had an Xbox360 which was a very well-used system used by youngsters in an after-school program, a lunch program as well as numerous day camps. The system was no longer working, so my 12 year old son took it upon himself to get it fixed and somehow found Daniel's name. My son offered my services to the Club leaders to take the system for repairs and they agreed. I was very leery, as I know these systems are costly and I didn't know who "this guy who was willing to take a look" was. The instructors of the Club gave me permission saying that the system was probably destined for the eco-centre anyway. Boy - were we wrong! Daniel treated my 12 year old with respect, professionalism and a great amount of patience (I can't tell you how many times my son called Daniel - just to make sure that Daniel's services were still available). We fought the snow and roads to deliver the broken goods to Daniel at around 7:30 PM and we received a call to pick it up the next day at around Noon. He was very accomodating with our schedule - simply requesting that we call before we leave to make sure that we could connect for pickup. The kids at the Club are thrilled to have their gaming system up and running and my son feels great that he found this "gold mine" of a repairman. I ASKED Daniel for business cards so that we could refer him to whoever needs help with gaming systems and we passed some business cards onto the Club to have on file in case any members need Daniel's services in the future. I would highly recommend Edmontonmods to anyone and everyone who is having trouble with their gaming systems.

My PS3 wasn't always reading discs, and Daniel replaced the laser for a good price, in a timely fashion, and in a professional manner. He certainly knows what he's doing, and is very trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I need repairs.

i have sent out my xbox 360 4 times to manufacture and problem was fixed but never lasted.and then found a local repair guy that charged $80.00 for repairs and still wasnt done right.i did my research this time found daniel and contacted him. after reading his reviews, i knew he was the goto guy. sure enough, i was right! im very happy and thankful for the work that he has done for my 360 and psp3000. it also helps that he has affordable, and unbeatable pricing! i will contact you soon for more modifications to other consoles. thanks d!

Well it's been quite a ride for Daniel, myself and my PS3 60GB original. I bought this system 2 yrs. ago second hand. I knew the person I bought it from, so I knew it was hrdly ever used. I play my system about 2hrs. a day (roughly). At the first of Dec. my laser went dead on me. With no warranty available anymore, I decide to try and trade it in at a second hand store. I called a second hand gaming store on the West End. They told me they have no use for broken systems. But they told me about this guy that fixes them for a good price, and all of the customers they have sent his way have never come back to complain about him. So, I decide to take a chance and let a total stranger take my console for fixing. When I contacted Daniel, he was very helpful just over the phone. He mentioned things to do, to make sure it was actually broken. Having done all of those things before hand, and still no luck, he told me to bring it in for fixing. He would replace the laser and it comes with a 30 day warranty. He said if that didn't work then he would try other stuff at no extra cost, until it was fixed. I took it to him the next day, and when I arrived at his place I felt alot more secure with leaving my system with him, after meeting and talking with him for a few. Very honest, upfront, respectable guy. Very intelligent when it comes to electronics aswell. After about an hour, I called him back and it was all fixed and working good. Very fast and professional. After about 5 days with the new laser, the same things started happening again, until the laser finally gave out. I called Daniel back and he said I must have gotten a bad laser. Something that happens every now and then. He was very busy, but he told me to bring it to him ASAP and he would put another laser in. I thought it was very nice of him, considering how frantically busy he was. So, 2nd laser installed. After about another 5 days with the 2nd laser, it went again. Very frustrated (more with the console then anything), I called Daniel again. This time he was absolutely astonished that I would get another bad laser. He felt VERY bad about this, and said he would fix it right away, with a laser from his other supplier. Well, it's been almost a week now and the 3rd laser is still working great!!. I don't care how often I have to go back to Daniel, because I know that I'm going to get friendly and professional service every time. Plus he makes his schedule very flexible for his customers. I would recommend him to ANYONE who has a gaming console that goes dead on them, or if it just needs a good cleaning and you don't want to take it apart yourself. THIS GUY IS THE BEST!!!
